Nashville Superspeedway

Nashville, TN

When a customer comes to us with their vision and a short timeframe, we find a way to deliver while exceeding expectations and utilizing resources from all of our business units. We were excited to work with McCoy Designs, Dover Motorsports, NASCAR and the Nashville Superspeedway to make it happen.

Poblocki fabricated and installed all new signage and wayfinding throughout the race venue. Nashville Superspeedway is the longest concrete oval track in NASCAR and is located just outside of Nashville in Lebanon, TN.

The Challenge

Nashville Superspeedway was not used by NASCAR as a Cup Series track for over 30 years. In August 2011, the track was shut down. In June 2020, NASCAR confirmed the track would reopen and host a Cup race in 2021. The Ally 400 was scheduled for June 20, 2021. With the track sitting dormant for all those years, there was much work to be done. The track went through new branding, a new vision and a new race fan experience. Every single sign within the facility from the street, to parking lots, wayfinding, ADA, front office, back office, brand identity, etc. needed to be replaced.

Solution

With the help of McCoy Design, the entire signage package was redone. This new package incorporated the new vision and brand in a high-end design fit for TV and the nearly 50,000 race fans coming to the track.

Results

Poblocki fabricated and installed the sign package in an expedient manner to complete the rebrand in time for the opening race.
