Poblocki Sign Company Launches Online Reorder System
Customer participation drove high-tech system design and functionality
Milwaukee—July 9, 2007—Poblocki Sign Company today announced the launch of its online reorder system. The innovative new system is the result of a year-long development cycle that actively involved Poblocki’s clients in development and testing of the system.
“Previous to building this online order system, our customers were constrained to cumbersome channels when ordering replacement signs to maintain their facility’s sign system,” said Paul Poblocki, Vice President and General Manager of the Interior Sign Division. “This state-of-the-art online reorder system gives our customers unprecedented control and expedited processing of all their signage needs.”
The new system presents an online catalog of an individual client’s signage system. After selecting which sign types need to be reordered, the customer can customized the message for each sign and specify order details. This tool let’s Poblocki’s clients build and place a sign reorder anytime of the day as well as track the status of previous orders.
“Being actively involved in the development of the online reorder system ensured the client perspective was a major factor in its development,” said Aurora Health Care’s Michael Hug, Supervisor of Operations. “As a result of Poblocki’s foresight my transition to the new system was seamless.”
The convenience factor of on-demand online ordering coupled with the dramatic reduction in turnaround time recently helped Poblocki Sign Company catch the attention of Alegent Health, a multi-facility healthcare system based in Omaha, Neb.
“Quick turnaround time and convenience are crucial to our ability to ensure traffic flows efficiently throughout our health system,” said Alegent Health’s Susan Thomas, Operations Leader- Marketing. “In some situations, getting to the correct place quickly is extremely critical. We need a signage company to deliver quality signage on demand.”
By the end of the second quarter of 2007, Poblocki Sign plans to have its top 5 reorder clients integrated into the online reorder system, with the remainder of its major reorder clients online by year’s end.
Poblocki focuses on three main areas of signage—exterior, interior and display cases—and has created signs in all 50 states, for clients including healthcare facilities, sports arenas, schools and corporations.
