Sales Intern - 10/14/2011
Poblocki Sign Company, a signage solutions supplier to clients in Healthcare, Education and Commercial applications, is looking for a Sales Intern to help advance our business and his or her career.
The ideal candidate will have Junior or Senior standing working towards a Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing or Business Administration and will be comfortable with the responsibilities and benefits that a career in Sales can offer. Candidate will have experience working with basic office software (Microsoft Suite). Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) and Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software experience preferred, but by no means required. No on-the-job experience is necessary, we have a comprehensive training program in place designed to give you the knowledge and tools necessary to be a successful Sales Professional.
This position is a paid internship with the intent to hire upon graduation.
Job Duties and Responsibilities Include:
- Completion of Comprehensive 8-10 Week Training Program
- Qualify leads and set appointments for Salespeople
- Review business journals to identify new project opportunities
- Utilize lead tracking services to identify new project opportunities
- Assist with development of documentation to propose a sign project
- Assist with preparation of proposal documents for large projects
- Attend sales calls with Poblocki Salespeople
- Update online photo database for use by Poblocki Salespeople
- Other Sales / Marketing tasks as assigned

AutoCad Structural Designer - 9/8/2011
Poblocki Sign Company LLC, a national leader in custom architectural signage, has an immediate opening in our Engineering Department. Duties to include preparation of shop drawings for product fabrication from customer design drawings using AutoCAD, creation of bills of materials for material procurement and fabrication, and assisting project managers and sales as necessary. Candidate must possess proficiency in AutoCAD and MS Office (Solidworks and RISA would be a plus).
Must be a self-starter who can work independently without supervision, and also have the ability to work in a team environment with sales, estimating, project management, and engineering. Sign fabrication or sheet metal experience is helpful but not necessary. Associates degree in an engineering, detailing, drafting or design type discipline is required.
